Riverfront Event Brings Tower I and Tower II Residents Together

OMAHA – When Tower I residents step onto the elevator at Riverfront Place, it is likely they will know anyone else riding with them.
“Riverfront Place is almost like a village,” said one Tower I Resident, “There is this comradery; everyone is really close. We have lots of friends living here.”
This is just one of the many benefits of living at Riverfront Place that Tower I residents hoped to share with those who have bought a property at the upcoming Tower II during an event held at the 5th Floor Riverfront Place Sales Center August 13th.
Many who had purchased in the upcoming Tower II were also eager to learn more about its progress and when they would hopefully break ground.
Sales and Marketing Manager Ben Proctor did not disappoint.
Proctor announced at the event that Riverfront Place has gained approval from First National Bank of Omaha for their construction loan, which means they hope to break ground in the middle of September thanks to having over $2 million in new sales recently in the new building.
“At Riverfront we have a unique concept that stands all by itself; there is and be nothing like it in Omaha,” said Proctor. “You are two special groups that have a special place in our hearts at Riverfront and really speak to the lifestyle offered here.”
For John Bertoni and Carol Kontor, they were quick to jump on board of the concept of Riverfront Place mainly due to its location.
“We wanted a smaller space with a beautiful view and it sounds like that is what we are going to get,” said Carol. “We just really wanted to hear when construction was starting so we were excited to attend tonight’s event to learn more about the progress.”
Lyle McIntosh of Tower 1 has really enjoyed the great people, and spends much time looking out at the pedestrian bridge.
“I just love walking and biking. I did Ragbrai and was able to just ride right out of my building to the event,” said McIntosh. “It doesn’t get any better. The view just makes everything about Riverfront Place even better.”
Terry and Susan Bejot may reside during the week in Lincoln, but on the weekend they are quick to make their way over to Riverfront Place where they currently live in Tower I, but have bought a property in Tower II.
“We just love everything about it,” said Terry. “It is fun to meet with the neighbors for dinner or get together.”
His wife, Susan, added that she enjoys being able to see the boats along the river, but not have to be on them.
“We bought into Tower II because we wanted something a little bigger; we are doing it up right,” said Susan. “Especially with the ballpark going in and North Omaha bound to reenergize, this is the place to come. It will be the destination living spot soon.”
McIntosh added that what would make the package complete would include adding a pedestrian bridge or over the railroad tracks to the ballpark, making it easier for Riverfront Place residents.
“That would be like the cherry on top,” he said.
Susan and Mike Lebens visited Tower I three years ago, and have since purchased Tower II’s penthouse and are eager to get moving on the property.
“We had reserved the penthouse at both Riverfront and Wall Street Tower, and our architect said nothing compares to Riverfront, so that is what we went with,” said Susan.
“They can’t build it fast enough,” she added.
The couple have already started working with a highrise outdoor architect to create an outdoor living space at their property in Tower II.
“With our kids gone and just a quick step over to the airport, it is just perfect for us as we love traveling,” said Mike.
Once construction has started and Tower II residents are ready to finish off their properties, Janet Slusky and Stacie Muhle of Contemporary Environments will be on hand ready to create dream spaces with Tower II buyers.
“We want to make this a home for all residents at Riverfront; we are ready to start helping them make it so,” said Slusky.
What is now still just a plot of land will soon be home to many Tower II residents, who are ready to break ground and join the ever growing community known as Riverfront Place.
